Cattle Decapitation is an American deathgrind band from San Diego, California, formed in 1996. The band's current line-up includes Travis Ryan (vocals), Josh Elmore (guitar), Dave McGraw (drums), and Derek Engemann (bass guitar). Cattle Decapitation has released six albums, their most recent being Monolith of Inhumanity (2012).

Grisly Amputation

Identified as old school American death metal/grindcore/deathgrind/goregrind, and fueled by Jack Daniels, PBR, and old horror movies, Grisly Amputation was founded in February 2010 by guitarist Gene Fikhman and drummer Chris Dissell after their band Scorched broke up. Wanting to take their new project in an old school death/grind direction, Gene first brought on board his fellow guitarist from steel city sludge band Vulture, Garrett Twardesky (ex-Shipwreck I Promised), who came up with the name Grisly Amputation. They started writing material, as well as trying out bass players and vocalists — eventually striking gold with Pat Butcher (ex-Lethal Prayer, ex-Omneity), a bassist who had previously worked with Garrett in First Day Dead; as well as newcomer Rob Grisly on vocals.

Ingested

Mancunian slam crew INGESTED have built a reputation as one of the most savage death metal acts to come out of the UK for a long time. Punishing beatdowns, epic riffage, guttural vocals and blistering speed are just some of the weapons in Ingested's musical arsenal. Agoraphobic Nosebleed

Agoraphobic Nosebleed (abbreviated as ANb) is a grindcore band formed in 1994 in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. Its line-up has changed often over the years, with guitarist and drum programmer Scott Hull being the only continuous member. The current line-up includes vocalists Jay Randall, Katherine Katz of Salome, and Richard Johnson of Enemy Soil and Drugs of Faith, who also plays bass guitar. Agoraphobic Nosebleed is one of the most well-known drum-machine grindcore bands, and has influenced many drum-machine grindcore bands.

Nasum

Nasum (pronunciation [na:sum]) was a grindcore band from Örebro, Sweden formed in 1992. The band released four studio albums, developed into "one of that country's premier metal acts" and disbanded after the December 2004 tsunami killed the band's frontman, Mieszko Talarczyk. The band's name, Latin for "nose", was taken from the horror film Flesh for Frankenstein.


In 2012, Nasum reunited with Rotten Sound frontman Keijo Niinimaa taking the place of Talarczyk, for a one-off tour to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary.
